Epithalon — Longevity & Cellular Aging Research
A synthetic tetrapeptide studied around the biology of cellular aging, gene regulation, circadian signaling, and longevity-related pathways, with particular interest in molecular processes associated with age-related cellular change.
Epithalon (also called Epitalon) is a synthetic four-amino-acid peptide developed from research involving the pineal peptide preparation Epithalamin. Experimental studies have explored Epithalon in relation to telomerase activity, telomere biology, gene expression, oxidative-stress pathways, pineal and circadian biology, and cellular aging. However, much of the evidence comes from laboratory, animal, or relatively limited research programs, and claims of lifespan extension or reversal of human aging have not been established by robust clinical evidence. Epithalon is not an FDA-approved medication.
Research Focus: Cellular Aging • Telomere Biology • Telomerase Research • Gene Regulation • Circadian & Pineal Signaling • Oxidative-Stress Pathways • Longevity Biology
A longevity-focused research peptide for those interested in the science of cellular aging, telomere biology, circadian communication, and the molecular pathways researchers investigate in relation to healthy aging.
